Monday, February 14, 2011. Over the weekend both Ty and I were sick. Ty has a horrible head cold and I had the stomach flu. As miserable as I was, I'm glad it was just a 24 hour thing. Ty is still feeling pretty bad. Poor guy. So as always, I was running back and forth between each party helping out. It was fun and a little exhausting. They all received a lot of fun treats. Sunday, December 4, 2011. As always, the kids had a fun Halloween month! One evening we turned off all the lights in the house, ate candy and popcorn and watched the movie Hocus Pocus. In my mind I can't stop thinking about hosting a brunch for Rob's side of the family at 11:00. I still need to get the breakfast casserole in the oven, clean up, shower.etc. I think everyone had a good time and the food was great! Sami opening a Tinkerbell book and doll. Lexi wearing a new hat and opening clothes.

Saturday, January 1, 2011. It's a new year! Yesterday was my birthday. Happy 33rd Birthday to ME! My cute family kicked it off with a cute card and breakfast in bed with flowers on the side. Loved it! Last night we met up with our good friends, The Gray's, Kirkhams and Groves for dinner at Tempanyaki's. Enjoyed another yummy meal. After dinner they went on to a movie, but Ty and I came home to check on sick kids. Julie was watching them. (Have I mentioned how wonderful and sweet Julie is?

The suspense is killing him. Drum Roll, please. Maryland, Baltimore Mission. He leaves Feb. 2. He's excited. I think he was bummed about not learning a language, but overall, excited to go to the east coast. As far as learning a language, he just decided to teach himself Spanish instead. Will he do it?

Today was our annual trip to Color Fest at the Sri Sri Radha Krishna temple in Spanish Fork! I absolutely love welcoming "Spring" this way and I love that EVERYONE looks the same once the colors start flying. I love being part of this cultural event.
