Jeff, Stacy, Sydney, Spencer, Saryn, and Shayla. Thursday, February 16, 2012. Holes, Bumps, Bruises and Valentines. Despite the label this place gets for being such a cold wintry place, I have to say that this winter just hasn't been that bad. I think it's because some family from Houston just moved here and needed the easing into those winters. We'll take it! Saryn was happy to be the big kid of the group holding hands with these twin sisters who were very willing to let her take charge for the day.

For starters, we were very excited to get Shayla's hair into a side ponytail. There's not much hair there and not a lot of length either to work with, so it didn't last long, but these two thought it was the greatest thing ever to have the same hair style (which only lasted for a few pictures and then fell out). Our last hike together was to Wahclella Falls, down the Columbia Gorge in Oregon. We sure will miss the beauty of the Northwest (I would try to explain, but thats what all the pictures are for). Wednesday, June 09, 2010. We've been to Arizona to see the cousins and Grandpa. Fun was had by all. Had a joint birthday for Hailey, Taylor and Caden. Not quite the rockin' party I was planning on, but they could have cared less. It's fun just to be with your cousins! Our little Taylor turned 4! I can hardly believe it. We partied all day at Disneyland, without Ellie (thank you Jenn! Let her eat all the junk she wanted. We later paid for it at 2 am with some "throw-ups". Still in love and had so much fun.

We started at the Beach on Monday. By Wednesday we were swimming in a lake and Thursday was for tubing around a river. My Family of Cookies. Sunday, December 26, 2010. Happy kids for Christmas. Christmas has left a happy family behind. There was some concern.a daughter who really wanted things not in the budget and twin boys who wanted a real puppy (Not happening! But even though one gift is still in the mail, my daughter is happy. She wanted several smaller things and I was able to get most of those. She can do amazing things with yarn and is great at Bananagrams. So enjoy some Christmas day pics as we enjoy our gifts.

I had a little time today and wanted to share some pics from our last camping trip. There is definitely a drought in Texas when you visit a family fishing pond and it is all dried up! Still lots to do. August 2, 2015. Trying not to lose motivation, so after taking a week off, we spent a couple of hours down the allotment. It’s surprising how much we notice the little changes and although we didn’t even touch the huge mound of soil in the corner, we got digging! We need to get a move on, still lots to do before the dark nights descend on us. July 20, 2015. A quick update, with photos! Still, scouring eBay. Every day looking for a shed, but no luck yet!
