Monday, March 11, 2013. When I heard Nathan's phone buzzing at 5:30 this morning, I knew it was going to be another snow day! The school district programs their calls to go out at 5:30 am to let families know that school has been canceled due to inclement weather. Great huh! We've had more snow days this school year than we've had in our 8 years of living in Rochester. Last Tuesday we got between 8 - 10 inches of heavy snow (trust me I shoveled it)! My sweet Michael who is such a good sport about life!

Friday, March 30, 2012. I was going through photos and found a lot of random pictures that I'd like to post. Enjoy! We discovered a new playground that was so much fun! Alina loved to slide by herself! Playing "Monkey in the Middle". The kids get out of school on Wednesdays at 1:00, so one Wednesday, I surprised them with an outing to a new park and then we tried out a new ice cream palor. The park had great views of the Bay Bridge. Haley and Audrey with their handprints. Beeps Burgers (go Beep Beep).

I had texts and phone calls from both Emily Fletcher and Adrienne Dangerfield telling us about the "show" that was going on between their lots and how excited they all were that it was finally happening! We will post more as things progress! Every year in September, Quarry Hill Nature Center has their Fall Festival. We look forward to it every year. Tuesday, July 9, 2013. It's always fun to have Nathan's birthday on the same day as the Fourth of July. Nathan was on-call (which happens a lot! But Nathan always says, he'd rather have to work on his birthday then on Christmas. Nathan had to go into the hospital in the morning, but was home in time to go the ward picnic.
