Hands on Kirkwood: October 2009
http://handsonkirkwood.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 13, 2009. HOK 2009 . What a Wonderful Day. After two days of solid rain, the sky opened up and God provided a beautiful day for over 250 volunteers to work and serve throughout Kirkwood. We could say a lot about the day and the work that was done, but perhaps the best way to look at HOK 2009 is by the numbers. Over 700 hot dogs given away and over 1000 people participated. Over 20 homes were served with minor repairs or cleaning. The days of dozens of seniors brightened by children.

Well developed marketing material can communicate to any age, cause an action and what I try to accomplish with every piece - create the right perception in the audience's mind. No matter how insignificant you think that flyer is, it makes an impression on everyone that sees it. Graphic design enhances that impression. The minister of music at Kirkwood Baptist Church. Singing in the Shower. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Gimme That Old Time Religion Pt. 2 - The Church and "Bonnie and Clyde". Bonnie, Clyde, Blanche and Buck are all disillusioned by the hollow promise that a conventional, religious, “working stiff” lifestyle can bring. They break out of it. It’s for suckers – not for special people like them. What an idea – what an image to keep in mind as we stage the opening of the second act next week. During the Great Depression, the bread lines, Hoovervilles. Century th...
