Pieces with Reece and. Friday, March 31. How many meanings can you derive from this shirt? It's funny to know that I had it well before I got pregnant and was not the inspiration for Reece's name. I found it recently when pulling out warmer clothes and just couldn't resist wearing it today! With the Phish Food. Chocolate Chip Lovers Ultimates. And Pinwheels I eat, I bet it is like Milk. Posted by Sundee at 3/31/2006 10:20:00 PM. Wednesday, March 29. Posted by Sundee at 3/29/2006 10:19:00 AM. He even napp...

Pieces with Reece and. Monday, July 31. Between good-byes, an exit interview, and cleaning out my desk, it was a long afternoon at the office.and my last as a KPMG employee. I truly believe this is a great place to work. But.no matter how good the benefits, they just can't touch those of my new job. I'm not sure how I passed the background check, the screening, the qualifications for this job, but I'm grateful to be hired. Just before walking out the door, gave my last hugs good-bye. Jay looks like h...

Pieces with Reece and. Tuesday, February 28. Tip toe-ing through the tulips. Today we spent the day at the Dallas Arboretum. It was absolutely stunning. Several of us moms and babes came out to enjoy the day together. The day passes much sweeter when shared amongst friends. Chrys took the pic below.I wanted to show our pile of strollers! Posted by Sundee at 2/28/2006 08:42:00 PM. Monday, February 27. He's 'going' once a day lately and when he goes, he explodes! Posted by Sundee at 2/27/2006 10:42:00 PM.

Pieces with Reece and. Saturday, April 29. Open Mouth, Insert Foot. Reece took a hiatus from his feet in the last week or so, but has officially found them again. Open mouth, insert foot. Man, have I done that one too many times. Reece's version is much less offensive. I snapped this one after the foot in mouth session with him sitting in my lap.such a cutie. And, yes, I will clip his nails.both sets. Posted by Sundee at 4/29/2006 11:05:00 PM. Friday, April 28. Posted by Sundee at 4/28/2006 09:43:00 AM.

Pieces with Reece and. Saturday, June 24. To start his first 'food' (more like rice milk served via spoon), we served sweet Reece with an engraved cup from Uncle Bill and Aunt Johnnie and a silver spoon from Aunt Treva. They would love to know they were part of this day. Continuing with the nostalgia, we served his first bite in my high chair in it's original condition.with one exception. The metal tray was so rusty I had to cover it. Love at first bite? Posted by Sundee at 6/24/2006 10:41:00 PM. She got...

Pieces with Reece and. Thursday, September 28. Well, snot happens.and I'm over it. Unfortunately, neither Reece or I are truly over it. It snot funny either. Well, actually it is sometimes. You don't think about the complete lack of social graces in little ones until they sneeze directly into your face, slinging their icks all over you. And.did I mention Reece is a multi-sneezer? I bet that helps. Posted by Sundee at 9/28/2006 10:13:00 AM. Tuesday, September 26. Tuesday afternoon and our morning walks.

Pieces with Reece and. Monday, May 29. Life is a little bit slower-paced for me these days. Although I don't get as much 'done', I enjoy the little things more and notice things that have been there all along. A snail's pace is a pretty good thing.that's the message I got today.my version of snail mail. Mom came into town and we enjoyed the day together. Outside and on my new bench, she treated me to a mini-manicure. We, of course, didn't want to leave Reece out. Posted by Sundee at 5/29/2006 11:00:00 PM.

A little bean sprout: goals, before the story
http://alittlebeansprout.blogspot.com/2009/08/goals-before-story.html
A little bean sprout. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Goals, before the story. Before I get into the labor and birth story, I wanted to remember my goals. It was my sincere desire to have a VBAC. After Reece's birth and learning so much more about doulas, hospitals, and how things could have gone, I changed doctors. I was thinking that if I get to have another birth, another baby, I wanted the opportunity to have that baby from the place God specifically designed. I wanted to go unmedicated. I knew it was goin...

A little bean sprout: Wednesday to Saturday
http://alittlebeansprout.blogspot.com/2009/08/wednesday-to-saturday.html
A little bean sprout. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Wednesday, the 12th. The only thing about mom being here was that I was a watched pot. It was hard not to think about it. With every contraction and grunt and groan, she wondered if THIS WAS IT. Well, of course she did, she was nearly as excited as we were, and had been calling every day, multiple times a day, checking in. Just so you know. Now that's an email. Thursday, the 13th. Friday, the 14th.aka DUE DAY. Started the morning with a walk. Mom, Reece...

A little bean sprout: something amazing happened
http://alittlebeansprout.blogspot.com/2009/08/something-amazing-happened.html
A little bean sprout. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. It was in fact, a very small number. Time stood still for just a minute as we three gasped inside and took it in. Then, Kir kicked right back into doula mode, talking me down from the ledge. I knew this look well. I'd seen it a few times before, heck, I'd even photographed it. But, I wasn't ready. I stopped her mid sentence. I felt confused, sad, exhausted, beaten down, and scared. There I had my moment. We were ready to talk with Dr. Harris about break...
