23 december 2012 - Bukoba. Schrijvend over mijn leven hier, en vooral over Kagondo Hospital, ontkom ik er niet aan, te vergelijken. Eerder deed ik dat natuurlijk ook keek ik met mijn Westerse ogen naar het Tanzaniaanse ziekenhuis waar we werkten. Nu kijk ik met met de ogen van een Hollandse die in Tandahimba heeft gewerkt. Monday, April 19, 2010. So hey. Clearly blogging just isn't my thing. However, mom has been descretely scolding me the past few emails so I though you all deserved a brief update. Easter was a few weeks ago so we had a week-long Easter break. What this means for Norwegians is basically time to travel and watch/read crime series. Yeah, I know, crime series? Kirsten in the sky. Paris og kunsterstrøket Montmarte. Så ble det Paris. Vakker by, mye å oppleve. Konsentrerte oss om området Montmarte, Paris’ mest berømte kunstnerstrøk. Her finner du Sacré Coeur, torgmalere og turister, men det genuine skinner gjennom. En gang i tiden bodde Picasso i området. Paris blir litt for stort for meg. Og der er alfor masse mennesker overalt. Vi havnet midt i en musikkfestivale i bydelen Montmarte. Koselig liten bar. Metro inngang rett ved Louvre. Gratis guidet tur paris.
