Mandag 11. juni 2007. Hvilken bil er best i søla? Her gikk det rett i grøfta. Deilig å være publikum i sola! Landcruiseren Spølet i søla og kom seg bare noen meter før den var stuck. Den spant og spant og grov seg lenger og lenger ned i fotballbanen. Landroveren måtte komme å trekke landcruiseren opp av sporet. Jorda er som lim! Fin å forme i! De voksne måtte forlate den "hvite" og ty til" jordbæret. ". Her trekken Ole Johan opp cruiseren. Sporene taler sitt språk. Å der stod han. Han kom ikke lenger.

Fredag 27. april 2007. Hvor ble det av hjemmemiljøet i forrige innlegg? Jo,- her kommer det! Her bor jeg. Døra er åpen , så velkommen inn! Deilig med en uteplass! Her kaller vi det kibanda! Boganvillabusken utenfor soveromsvinduet er en flott farveklatt! En vanlig fredag , . tar en titt innom til kollegaer på Scripture Mission sitt kontor her på tomta. Jeg er en del av det landsskapet . selv om jeg er leder for skolen NCS. Hvem er disse vakre menneskene? Charity er SM sitt glade ansikt i resepsjonen.

Mandag 29. september 2008. What a beautiful season! And what a privilege to be able to enjoy it! After three months of trying to adjust myself back to living in Norway and six busy weeks of teaching and , it´s time to relax and breathe. Schools are having a break, and we have been blessed with wonderful weather. A three hours´ stroll in the forest today is hopefully good enough preparation for some days of hiking later this week. Onsdag 13. juni 2012. Ole and Astrid`s Easter. Breakfast in my garden. Lunch on my favorite restaurant. Passing Mt Meru on our way to Arusha. Love birds in Karatu. Relaxing afternoon in Karatu. Crowned cranes en masse! Amazing view from the hotel! Love birds in Ngorongoro 3. Lake Manyara National Park. On our way back to Arusha we visited another national park. Not so many animals this time of the year, but the landscape was beautiful! Not much of a lake. Two young impala males. A variety of side dishes.

Onsdag 23. mai 2012. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Waiting to be taken to the gate. Waiting for the guide and porters. To have their breakfast. Waiting for the guide to arrange our luggage with the porters. While waiting we could study the route. Waiting is over :). The Fig Tree Arch. Mostly nice weather the first day, but we had to put on our rain gear now and then. Excellent picnic site for an excellent packed lunch! A cool guy in a cool landscape. And a cool girl in a cool landscape :). Rain, rain, rain.

Fredag 18. mars 2011. School Trip to Lamu. Several weeks of fund raising in many different and creative ways, the day of departure finally arrived! Excited and happy students and teachers. Girls just wanna have fun :o). The house we stayed in was great! Plenty of space, and a nice roof terrace for eating, sleeping, relaxing, playing games, and having evening devotions. Søndag 6. november 2011. Another trip with "The Norwegian Compound," this time to Lake Magadi, a soda lake close to the Tanzanian border. Heading south from Nairobi, we first visited Olorgesailie, a prehistoric site run by the National Museums of Kenya. After a short guided tour of watching old handtools and excavations, in addition to the beaded goods of the Maasai women, we moved on to the lake and the hot springs. Tirsdag 10. januar 2012. Mt Kenya, part 1. The Naro Moru Route. What a great way of starting the new year, hiking Mt Kenya together with 4 other ladies and a teenage girl!
