A girl, her parents, baby brother, and one very wary cat. With Finnie As My Co-Pilot. January 5, 2015. The kids and I survived our first solo flight, returning from a nice long stay in Michigan over the Christmas break. Finnie was such a particularly terrific traveler that I wanted to document the experience. 8221; Cormac and I struggled to catch up with her, and because I was juggling 17 things, I needed Finnie to hold our boarding passes, which she expertly handed over to an amused gate agent. A girl, her parents, baby brother, and one very wary cat. Bounce, bounce, bounce! I Love This Kid. April 15, 2013. In fact, Fin’s biggest problem tomorrow will be that I won’t let her wear her monkey costume to school, even though she wore it all day on Friday and on Saturday. (That included trips to the Air and Space Museum and to Union Market. Lots of double-takes and smiles.) I can live with that. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. A girl, her parents, baby brother, and one very wary cat. I Love This Kid →. April 2, 2013. Sometimes I start to worry that the whole monkey theme has gone a little too far, and that we don’t really need 512 monkey pajamas, underpants, boots, slippers, and other items of clothing–not to mention the monkey plates, bowls, wallets, books, and stuffed monkeys. And then I remember that it could be Barbies. Thank goodness for monkeys. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. I Love This Kid →.

A girl, her parents, baby brother, and one very wary cat. With Finnie As My Co-Pilot →. June 13, 2014. Oh dear. The parents are really falling down on the job of documenting Finnie and Cormac’s childhoods. Probably because we’re too busy keeping up with them, especially our ever-exuberant Finoula (seen above in her best pirate ballerina pose). Every day when I pick her up, she runs to show me another drawing. Yesterday it was: “Look, Mama! I drew you and Cormac! 8221; And whaddya know? 8230;until she exp...
