Darned stubborn German-ness. That's great. I'm with you on being on the ball enough to get tickets next year. Every year, I keep saying, "Oh, I should go to Sundance," but I never think about it until it's too late. Well, next year. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 100 things i hate. lindsay and mark: We caved. It's now Christmas in our house.

We caved. It's now Christmas in our house. But first: I'd like to direct you to our new, fabulous frame which features Gustav Klimt's. Mark and I love this print and have waited for the perfect frame to come along. Thank you Ikea! Now for the good stuff:. Normally I'm a staunch supporter of starting Christmas the day after Thanksgiving, but this year Christmas officially starts in our house on November 9th. Here is my justification:. Mark and I have finished all. Posted by lindsay and mark. It is CLEARLY...

October 13, 2011. I’m going to start blogging again. There. I said it. It’s been nearly a year since I last blogged and I think we can all agree that a year in between blogs is ridiculously too long. So to kick things off, I’d like to share with you my new, favorite song. It’s by Coldplay (who else? And it’s called Paradise. Enjoy! From → Uncategorized. Larr; Happy Holidays from Coldplay & Me. lindsay and mark: More of our weekend with Barack.
http://lindsayandmark.blogspot.com/2008/11/more-of-our-weekend-with-barack.html
More of our weekend with Barack. Photo Courtesy: Chris Jewell. Believe me, I won't take credit for these photos obviously taken from a much nicer camera than mine! Posted by lindsay and mark. Those pictures look photoshopped. I bet you weren't even really there. You are a dirty liar. And you are a jealous pig. =). And I have about 300 more where that came from if you need more proof. ;). Thanks for the credit. I wish we could go again. Great photos. Looks like a fabulous weekend. You guys look so happy!

lindsay and mark: One-upping is Tacky.
http://lindsayandmark.blogspot.com/2008/11/one-upping-is-tacky.html
To gain an advantage in some way that betokens success. I have a strong distaste for people who seek for opportunities to one-up others. It seems to happen all of the time. However, I should add that my distaste does not include one-ups in academics, sports or competitions. I expect opposition in these arenas. My distaste is for people who find it necessary to one-up others when it comes to suffering, health, pain or stress. You have witnessed a one-up. Not only did this person. I have a headache.".

lindsay and mark: My new favorite thing.
http://lindsayandmark.blogspot.com/2009/02/my-new-favorite-thing.html
My new favorite thing. I finally got my new car! I've posted the car below, but mine is in a dark gray metallic with black interior. We've already been on a few joy rides since last night and I can't believe how fast this thing goes! I'm super excited, although I will be honest; I teared up a bit when I said goodbye to the Audi. It was so sad to see it go, but it was time. Hurray for new adventures in this car! It needs a name though.). Posted by lindsay and mark. Love love LOVE it! Can't wait to see it!

lindsay and mark: My new president.
http://lindsayandmark.blogspot.com/2008/11/my-new-president.html
Eight long years are finally coming to an end and I feel blessed to have participated in history. Whether or not you agree with Obama's policies, you cannot deny the greatness of this historical time. I envy the people who have witnessed progression. Those who lived before, during and after the civil rights movement and once thought that a black president was impossible. My feelings at the moment can be summed up in three words: I have hope. lindsay and mark: Our weekend with Barack Obama.
http://lindsayandmark.blogspot.com/2008/11/our-weekend-with-barack-obama.html
Our weekend with Barack Obama. Finally, after waiting hours with built-up anticipation, Harry Reid came on stage to introduce the man we were waiting to see. I was thrilled to see Senator Reid. He is one of my heroes as he is a strong Democrat who is also an active Mormon. Obama spoke about change, peace, health care, education, the economy and unity. I will admit that I was a bit teary-eyed when he came on stage. He really brings with him a powerful presence that feels so good. Posted by lindsay and mark.

lindsay and mark: My Birthday Weekend.
http://lindsayandmark.blogspot.com/2009/02/my-birthday-weekend.html
I love my husband. For my birthday he surprised me with tickets to the Utah Symphony at the Abravenel Hall in Salt Lake City. We were lucky enough to attend on a night where they were playing Stravinsky and Mozart - both of whom Mark actually knows (surprising, I know! I've posted a photo below of the beautiful music hall. We sat in the fifteenth row! On Saturday, friends met up for a birthday dinner at Cafe Rio (where else? Posted by lindsay and mark. Happy late birthday girl! 100 things i hate.
