The Heart of the Horseman. Once a month we meet in the home of a member in Leesburg, VA for our discussion. The group is lots of fun, and the discussions are rather free-form. We are driven by the members questions and thoughts about the book, and interaction between members is encouraged. Currently we meet on the last Thursday of the month from 7 to about 9pm, and dues are $45 a year. What are we reading? Book Reviews (coming soon).

Answers to your horse questions. Beautiful palomino Jockey Club registered Thoroughbred mare. She stands about 14h. Bred and raised here. Truly has a very sweet and kind temperament and is well socialized. She is ready to start under saddle and would make an excellent show pony. With 3 white socks, a blaze and a white mane and tail, you will be sure to be noticed. She is only for sale as she is too small for me to ride (I am 5'8"). I would also consider a lease to the proper situation. In her own words.

Answers to your horse questions. Don't worry, I get this question a lot. I raise Thoroughbreds for my personal riding horses. Dressage and sidesaddle are my personal favorites, though we do lots of things. There is a great song by Michael Martin Murphy (he wrote "Wildfire" as well) called "The Running Blood" which was the inspiration for the farm name. You can listen to the song here. I'm a big race horse. I can run so fast. I don't even think about being last. When I make my move. I don't feel no pain.
