Words from Kort’s Warriors. On September 1, 2009, Kort was diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. He was 2 years old. Kort’s cough got better and the last day of the antibiotic (Wednesday) he woke up with a fever. Kent and I thought it was strange. How could he have fever after being on meds for 10 days? We’ve just been busy enjoying summer and less frequent trips to the hem/onc clinic and normal life. If you’ve been following Brock’s facebook page, you know he’s made great strides in re-learning how to eat. So much, in fact, that he had his feeding tube removed 3 days ago! 4 Comments ». So happy for Brock! God is so very good and may He continue to bless Brock and your entire family.

And a few others have said they think he just had a virus that has disrupted his intestines ability to absorb his formula (from his tube feedings). We’re waiting to hear from the GI doctors about whether or not they want to switch him to a formula that’s partially broken down. 8211; that the doctors would have wisdom in what’s causing the symptoms and the best way to treat them. 8211; I’ve had pain in my thumb/wrist. A program that I love with a teacher that I love where he learns the alphabet and about community helpers and that God loves him. He loves it there too. When I went to parent teacher conferences last fall his teacher kept saying “He has LOTS of friends.” He’s happy. He’s healthy. 8 Comments ». Brock came home from the hospital last night. FINALLY recovered from a 2 week long tummy bug. Reese is still sick. After 5 days on antibiotics her ears weren’t any better. Brock has had 26 blood transfusions and 40 platelet transfusions in less than 5 months. Without them, he would have died. There have been times that he needed blood or platelets and we had to wait for hours because the blood bank supply was low. I’m ashamed to say that I’d never donated blood before Brock was diagnosed. Partly because of ignorance about the real need and partly because I. I was afraid of the needle. But, really? It doesn’t compare at all to some of the things. That Brock has had to endure.

She's getting so big, I can't believe it's already been 3 months. Kaylee's 14 pounds now, she was 13 three weeks ago, and in size 2 diapers. I'm surprised she's getting so chunky off breastmilk.
