Saturday, May 24, 2008. Quotable Calvin Part II. Like I said in the previous post, there is no lack of funny material from Calvin. Here are some more quotes. On a particularly challenging day Calvin asked for some candy and I told him he really did not deserve any, so he replied, "Well, God gives us things we don't deserve". How could I argue with that? He got the candy, but that only works once! I think I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Calvin loves knock-knock jokes. Unfortunately, he can't...

Gen 12:3 Blessed to be a Blessing. Monday, January 9, 2012. View from backstage. This concert was Cameron's first use of a drum set instead of a djembe. I couldn't tell the difference. Rylee (top left in case you couldn't pick her out.) praying with some people at the concert. Also, the first night, you couldn't step anywhere without crushing a bug (they must have been drawn to the stage lights). When we got on stage the second night, there wasn't a single bug! Rylee and her golden child, Borin. Cameron ...

Gen 12:3 Blessed to be a Blessing. Saturday, January 14, 2012. Family and friends,. Through a series of unfortunate events, Hannah doesn't have an exit visa needed for our flight on Sunday night. If parts of the Cambodian system weren't so corrupt, we might have already had this figured out. For now, please pray that we will be able to get Hannah a visa as soon as possible, preferably before the rest of the team leaves Sunday night. We will keep you posted. January 14, 2012 at 9:15 AM. http://courtneyincambodia.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Gen 12:3 Blessed to be a Blessing. Saturday, January 30, 2010. It was so much fun! Then me, kit, and 2 other older boys, strapped head lamps on our heads and raced outside in the night. The kids were all running around with the walkies and soon ran in terror as we chased them with the red light in our eyes. It was so much fun! Otherwise you leave a soul feeling very alone with people all around them. I thank you Jesus for what you doing, and I praise your name in the midst. Friday, January 29, 2010.

Gen 12:3 Blessed to be a Blessing. Monday, April 26, 2010. Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Things seem to be falling in just days before I leave, however, I know the Lord loves to be the valiant hero and save the day. We are trusting that He will save the day! I need you to partner with me in prayer and intercession. He is the only one that can do this:. Nune has spent hours with me doing her best to relay to me her favorite bibles stories with picture books, and reenactments. She loves Jesus! Every beautiful...

Gen 12:3 Blessed to be a Blessing. Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Healing, Teaching, Chicken killing. Physical and spiritual healing. Rylee treated things like colds, rashes, diarrhea, joint and muscle pain etc. with basic medication that these people did not have access to. Her family sent her back to get more medicine and to make sure we prayed for her again. It was so encouraging to hear positive feedback. Then w...

http://courtneyincambodia.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Gen 12:3 Blessed to be a Blessing. Friday, December 30, 2011. After almost a year of preparation, hundreds of prayers from family, friends, supporters and the team, more than $2,000 raised, many giggles of excitement and two unnecessarily long flights, six sweaty Mizzou students made it to A Greater Hope Orphanage. In Takeo, Cambodia. The central market just went through major renovation in Phnom Penh. There were plenty of shops to explore. Hannah takes a courageous, long first bite of a salted cricket.

Gen 12:3 Blessed to be a Blessing. Saturday, March 27, 2010. He comes like the dawn! So I know that I know, that this message is also personally for one of you reading. Then through a conversation with Kit and a few emails. The Lord reminded me of His truth. He reminded me that He always takes me on a journey before revelation. He ask me to wait, to wait patiently on him as a bride waits for his groom. This is a mark of a bride! This is a mark of a women! This felt like freedom! From Come away my beloved:.

Gen 12:3 Blessed to be a Blessing. Sunday, February 28, 2010. 1 month and were still together. So today is the official 1 month anniversary with Cambodia. What a beautiful celebration she gave me today! Today was fantastic. So I got up, got dressed, and then headed to the church. The church was full of children! Did I mention how I adore them so? Please understand that our worship team is made up of 14 year-olds, seriously. Te-a one of our kids plans all the worship songs, organizes the practices and...
