Reviews, Rants and Recipes. Helen’s writing is brilliant, funny and the recipes are great – try the Beef Ragu. Awesome. She also makes killer sandwiches. These ladies make me laugh out loud with their anecdotes. It’s a bit too focused on the videos these days for me, but still worth a look, especially for family food. Stunning food photography, lots of delicious sweet treats. He has such a way with words and this calming lovely presence. His food is chilled out, seasonal and bloody good.

Reviews, Rants and Recipes. It’s taken a while to write this blog post but.I was very excited back in August to host my first supper club! I first heard about the underground restaurant thing through Ms Marmite Lover. So I did a trial with friends and friends of friends. Cheese, chutneys and crackers. So the nex...

Reviews, Rants and Recipes. Leamington Food Festival review. 8211; wow, it was a good weekend. Bigger than ever, so much delicious food and drink and at last, I could run around and enjoy it rather than being behind a stall! I, naturally, had to go and investigate what was on offer on both festival days, eating lunch down there and grabbing food for the evenings too. Sunday night I collapsed on the sofa after gorging myself to the max, but it was worth it. It was really bare and didn’t look very en...

Reviews, Rants and Recipes. New street food event in Stratford! Eeeeeek I’m so excited about this one. I’ll set the scene: you’re chilling by the riverside with your favourite chaps, the sun is setting over the Shakespeare theatre*, there are sweet tunes in the background, you’ve got a pint of real ale in one hand and a kick ass cheese melting toastie in the other. Oh yes, after hours street food has arrived in Stratford. The brilliant street food collective that is Scoff. A real ale double decker bus.
