Welcome to Geetha's Kitchen, the Home prepared delicacies Corner. Onion Vatha Kuzhambu →. Chow Chow (Chayote) -1/4 kg (cut it into small pieces/cubes). Moong dal 100 gm. Tuar dal 3 tsp. Turmeric powder – tsp. Coconut shredded 25 gm. Curry leaves 1 twig. Tamarind – small lemon sized ball. Heat oil and sauté Tuar dal, Black pepper, Green chilli, Coconut grated, Jeera till golden. Grind them into paste adding little water. Cook Moong dal and Chow chow pieces. Transfer chow chow kootu into serving vessel.
