Gluten-Free, Low-Glycemic, Garden-to-Table Cooking Adventures. Just Another Gluten-Free Kitchen Minx. Gluten-Free Cornbread and Butternut Squash Pasta Sauce. The other night (a lot going on this week, so I didn’t get to update) C assigned me the project of using up the butternut squash that was on the kitchen counter and the turkey meat in the freezer. I was craving cornbread and had bought the stuff to make it. So there was the brainstorm version of dinner. Ancient Harvest Quinoa…I love that stuff.

Gardening By the Seat of My Pants. Shots from a double barrel. Posted by Kelly G. At Friday, April 30, 2010. I also had to patch a sizable hole where the original water-spout came out.which involved two chinese-takeout-soup-lids, some pvc glue and some caulk. I did a pretty good job, but it has a tiny drippy leak there. It still holds water really well, although if it ever winds up empty again, I'll recaulk it and see if I can't get it to stop. The big one doesn't get as much sun on the sensor as the lit...

Gardening By the Seat of My Pants. Posted by Kelly G. At Wednesday, July 30, 2008. I pulled about half the carrots out of the container yesterday and they got mixed into a salad. About half the ones I pulled were ready to come out and the other half were tiny, but still very edible. Yay carrot harvest! I love growing food. Links to this post. Posted by Kelly G. Gardening By the Seat of My Pants. Intercropping - Carrots Love Tomatoes! Posted by Kelly G. At Thursday, May 6, 2010. I didn't. The book is an excellent reference and her writing style is old-fashioned but cheeky. This book should be on any gardener's shelf. This is what a Paris Market carrot looks like:. I'm so excited about them. And speaking of things that I impulsively bought at the garden center yesterday - lime tree! Anyone have a good name for a lime tree? Labels: Ailsa Craig Onion. Gardening By the Seat of My Pants. A little progress, a little snow. Posted by Kelly G. At Sunday, March 22, 2009. So my greenhouse is busting with little lives and I just seeded my next set- so I thought I'd post a few pictures. We found a grow light in the basement just as I was going to buy one - which was nice. A few weeks ago I put in tomatoes, brussels sprouts, onions, and broccoli as well as pansies. I also had to resuscitate my rosemary which was doing fine until about 3 weeks ago. That's still t...

Gardening By the Seat of My Pants. Weeding, seeding, and the view from the air! Posted by Kelly G. At Monday, May 17, 2010. With the weather finally warm enough to set things out (that have of course been properly hardened off), I decided to hurry up and get some stuff in the ground before I whisk off to California for a few days. That required some heavy-duty weeding action first. I probably weeded for a solid hour, and it still needs work, but I don't feel bad showing pictures now. I also put the big-e...

Gardening By the Seat of My Pants. Back on the Wagon. Posted by Kelly G. At Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Then in November the house burned down. I had to leave my compost (although I'd like to go back and get it) and my rain barrel. We have a new place, and I think with some changes I can have a pretty spectacular garden again this year. I'm really excited for the challenge, some bigger trellis projects (another melon and some cukes), and a bunch of new veggies to taste. Empress of India Nasturtium. Monnop...

The Kitchen Minions
A new kitchen and a few more minions. Hey there, it has been *ahem* a little while since I’ve written. I was very ambitious when I planned out my summer market schedule. My schedule started out with a Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and two alternating Sunday markets. I can admit now that this was a bit over ambitious. It was also cut short when I found out in June that I was pregnant with twins. Thankfully the curse of first trimester never turned on sweets so I was able to continue cooking for fluffed up.

Minoppi's kitchen | Just another WordPress.com site
Just another WordPress.com site. White chocolate cake with berries. March 7, 2011 by Minoppi. The berries i used here, i took from freezer. They have been there since summer when i picked them up myself. When i putted them to freezer last summer, i added some casting sugar and now when i melted them bit inmicrowave oven, sugar sweetened them a bit. So if you use fresh ones, i suggest you to add bit sugar on them becase on recipe itself doesnt have much sugar. 200g Philadelphia or other unripened cheese.
