Typical set of parts in the box, still on the sprue. Includes metal ballast weight. Transfers for various regions and numbers with 'protective' sheet. The Kit had two sets of these 'clear' plastic glazing sprues. Bogie sides from a TT Scale Kit show the level of detail. Glue capsule, generally dried up by now! Early Kits included the 1959 Catalogue. And they were packed with a small Peco leaflet advertising the Railway Modeller. From 1960 the Kits came with a Humbrol Colour Chart.

The early kits had transfers with the BR logo with the lion facing to the left and right. This was incorrect as BR locomotives had the Lion only facing to the left as per the registered design. Kitmaster had this pointed out to them and the second series of transfers had two Lion logos facing to the Left. Diesel Electric No. 2. Schools Harrow No. 5. Prairie Tank No. 7. Italian Tank No. 8.
