Color: Sweetie (purple, pink and yellow). I was thinking of making a jaywalker type scarf with this but I think I want more than three colors in my jaywalker scarf. Perhaps Wavy. Choices, choices. She also included a nice hand written note - on purple paper no less. Her name is Jaymi. She doesn't have a blog, but you can find her on ravelry here. I know us knitters don't like to be kept waiting, so here it is all unwrapped! Here are some close ups. A keychain sock blocker! Thank you so much Jaymi! It is all perfect!

It just looked so pretty in the early morning sunlight that I had to try and capture it. Some things I'm thankful for:. Family, friends, a nice place to live, my boyfriend, my kitties who forever love me, financial aid that allows me to go to school, finally having a career to work towards that I'll enjoy, knitting, yarn, and many many more things. I'm one lucky girl.

By Ruth Homrighaus, published in Knitty. Knit Picks Shine Sport in Violet (darker purple) and Hydrangea (lighter purple). US 2 DPNS, and US 3 KP circular. Wednesday, April 23, 2008. FSC 3 - Box Arrived. I had to go out of town last week for business and while I was gone, the box from my pal arrived. A BIG thank you to Megan for all the goodies! I'm going to have to hide the chocolate and the candy from the munchkins if I want any of it. ;-). I love the colors of everything. The felted earrings are so cute and another thing that will have to be hidden from the "teens". One of my girls has already been eye-balling them. lol. I can't wait until the next one.

Monday, February 19, 2007. Knitpicks Memories in Yukon, knit on 80 stitches with size 0 Knitpicks circular. Stockinette with short-row toes and heels. Nice and simple! And this time, since I finished my Sock-a-Month pair, there's no time pressure and I might even cast on for more than one pair at a time! Sweetie's socks are very handsome. There is a TON of ribbing at the top, because I consistently underestimate how far my yarn is going to go, and switched to ribbing way too early. The colors aren't my favorite ever (I think it's the greeny-yellow flecked stripes - I really really wish they were just green) but they fit so well that I just don't care. The Fleece Artist non-pooling stockinette sock is moving along slowly, and I'm not sure I've picked up the Geranium socks at all since my last post. I'm just not motivated to knit red - I'm sure as soon as Project Spectrum switches to orange/purple/brown I'll be nuts about red. Wednesday, January 03, 2007. Is an almost-finished sock for Dad! I'm on the cuff. Although it's HUGE, it didn't really take that long, considering how much time I really put into it and not someone else's socks (Mom and sister's boyfriend).
