The Brewer Family: June 2012
http://thevanbrewcrew.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 16, 2012. A little bit of everything…. Neglecting our blog has been the least of my worries, but it has been kind of sad not to be able to enjoy some of my favorite hobbies. School and kids consume EVERTHING! Just in time for summer though, I can happily report that I finished my first semester and quarters with A’s, finished studying for the DAT (the Dental Admissions Test… the most difficult, broad and seemingly impossible test EVER! Here’s some quick updates in photos:. We’ve had ...

Monday, May 30, 2011. FIRST camp-out of EVERY year…. Memorial Day weekend marks our FIRST camp-out of the year! We feared the worst for weather, (we cannot remember a weekend when it has not DUMPED rain on us), but love camping, love the company of our neighbors, and were ready for a break from our everyday routines. We headed out to the John Day Dam Friday and camped at LaPage park. It really was a beautiful park and the weather was AMAZING! We experienced some wind, but ZERO rain! 8230; and took pictur...

Sunday, January 30, 2011. Allie turned 6mo. on Friday! It is CRAZY how fast this day has come. I remember with Malia waiting and waiting for her to reach these fun milestones. With Allie, I feel like I blink and BOOM! Half a year has gone by! 8220;Are you ready Allie? 8220;Mmmm Allie. Do you like it? After a first few tastes Allie was ready for more! So happy and so yummy! Just for for fun, visit this blog post. To see Malia eating her first foods at six months). Posted by The Brewers. 8230; they sure ca...

The Brewer Family: March 2011
http://thevanbrewcrew.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 31, 2011. Wow… this is an old post now! We had a combo anniversary/birthday celebration in Seattle with Laura, Collette and almost Uncle David! We had an AMAZING, busy and sleepless weekend! We stayed up WAY too late Friday night playing games, laughing, and reminiscing of old times. Saturday we awoke to a beautiful day, enjoyed Auburn by drive, and went on a mini tour of Tacoma. It was so refreshing to enjoy the crisp air and sunshine. The waterfront was beautiful! This is my most favori...

Monday, February 21, 2011. 8220;It’s my Happy Birthday! We had so much fun celebrating this weekend for Miss Malia: EVERY day was a celebration… no joke! And her birthday isn’t even until Tuesday! The older she gets, the more animated and excited she gets, and the more she knows and understands, the more fun it is for us to watch! She was so cute in her request for pink and purple balloons, special plates, and best of all… PRESENTS! 8220;Malia. Are you so excited for your birthday party tomorrow? Malia g...

The Brewer Family: April 2011

Saturday, April 30, 2011. Let Kids be KIDS! While hard at work in our back yard (down on the slope), we walked up to find out why the kiddos were playing so well together…. It makes so much sense now! Mud, puddles, splashing… what more fun can a kid have! Never again Malia… never again! But she is such a cute mud pie! Posted by The Brewers. I taught Malia the ‘true’ meaning of Easter the other day using a children’s picture-book Bible…. Me: “Malia, see this picture? Did you know that Jesus died for us?

Sunday, June 26, 2011. This was a tough hike! It was only 5miles, but for more than 2miles we hiked a steady, unforgiving incline to nothing all that spectacular. I mean… if you’re going to spend hours hiking straight uphill with 25 lbs. of dense weight on your back, it better end in some sort of amazing view or waterfall right? Oh well… we still had a great time enjoying the beautiful northwest greenery and the peaceful (sometimes whiny) solitude with our family. Good thing we wore pants! We were so wor...

The Brewer Family: Malia’s 4th Bday!
http://thevanbrewcrew.blogspot.com/2012/03/malias-4th-bday.html
Sunday, March 25, 2012. Malia’s 4th Bday! Malia had a little bit of a birthday month (in February) since life has been so busy and crazy. It was so hard to find the time! We started the celebrations one weekend with a visit to Red Robin with her friends Hadley and Collin, a week later had the family over for a pizza party and celebration, and finally by her actual b-day, I think we forgot to even mention it! Yup… I chopped my hair and LOVE it! Posted by The Brewers. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Brewer Family: December 2011
http://thevanbrewcrew.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Christmas morning was a little bit different this year since it was on a Sunday! With church at 9am, we decided to have the kids open their gifts from Santa AFTER church, but wanted them to enjoy their stockings and bunk bed before getting dressed and ready. Who needs breakfast when you’ve got candy! Even though we missed the initial surprise (which you read in the last post) she was still pretty happy about her new bed! Sucks… too bad. Guess when she comes? We moved downsta...

The Brewer Family: November 2011
http://thevanbrewcrew.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2011. We started out Thanksgiving with our first annual Turkey Trot! For the past five or more years we have always played in a Turkey Bowl, but not this year… we wanted to try something a little different and boy was it fun! Fun to beat Aaron that is! We captured our end moments from my phone, so the quality is not the greatest:. On our way down to Aunt Celeste’s the girls got to enjoy their new car seats! Which doesn’t appear to look very comfortable…). Posted by The Brewers.
