Kiwibeer in New Zealand. Nieuw Zeeland reis- en emigratieverslag van de Fam. de Beer. Op dinsdag 22 februari hebben we weer een verwoestende aardbeving gehad. Het grote verschil met september was dat het episch centrum heel dicht bij ons was en de beving heel oppervlakkig. Voor meer foto's kijk even op http:/ www.stuff.co.nz/. Moet wel gezegd worden dat het bijna allemaal enkelsteense en oude panden zijn die op instorten staan. Onze houten frame huizen doen z'n werk goed in de quakes. Veel wegen hebben schade opgelopen en de waterleidingen, riool etc zal allemaal gechecked moeten worden. De scholen en de gebouwen in het centrum blijven tot en met het weekend gesloten. Kiwibeer in New Zealand. Nieuw Zeeland reis- en emigratieverslag van de Fam. de Beer. 71 earthquake in Christchurch 4/9/2010. Bij ons is alles goed. Vannacht wreed wakker geschud door fikse aardbeving. 7.1 op schaal van Richter. Iedereen is veilig. We hebben gas, water en licht en telefoon en genoeg eten en drinken in huis. Alle lege flessen en containers zijn gevuld met vers water en nu afwachten wat er komt. Laatste berichten en foto’s staan op. We houden jullie op de hoogte. De eerste week in NZ.

Kiwibeer in New Zealand. Nieuw Zeeland reis- en emigratieverslag van de Fam. de Beer. Dank je wel voor al de berichtjes. Soms is het wat makkelijker om terug te schrijven en soms staat het hoofd er niet naar. Gelukkig zijn we terug in ons eigen huis. Het voelt goed, hebben water en electriciteit én ons eigen bed. Kinderen slapen op hun matrassen bij ons op de kamer en dat voelt goed. Zal helpen om weer te werken, wel spannend om terug te gaan in de winkel. En zo vergaat het ons op het moment.
