There were a number of boat yards along the path and two large marinas near the end of the ride. More frequently along the path were cafés or small hotels. We decided that we didn't want to explore the castle so settled for exploring the Leycester Hospital and town centre. The hospital is named because it was operated as a place where hospitality is offered and not as a medical hospital.
