Kiwi Tales: February 2006
http://kiwitales.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Here are two more photos of Yana, taken just a couple of days ago. Posted by kiwiruth at 8:37 AM. Wednesday, February 22, 2006. Middle of the week. Trying to book tickets to Christchurch to see my middle son Phil but although there are cheaper flights, the times may not suit, and the weekend I can travel might not suit Phil and Magenta. Sigh. Ah well. Maybe they can come up and visit instead. Busy at work, does that ever change? On call tonight but so far it's been quiet.

Kiwi Tales: October 2005

Monday, October 31, 2005. Here's my son Tim with his baby daughter Yana. Lovely pic isn't it! I did manage to get to see them on Saturday. Baby was still jaundiced and very sleepy so is spending a couple of nights back in hospital to get rehydrated, as she would fall asleep without getting a full feed. She's very cute, just like a little doll, and Tim and Sarah are managing very well. Sarah's parents are staying with them to help out. Posted by kiwiruth at 10:07 PM. Wednesday, October 26, 2005. Sunday, July 31, 2005. It looks as though it worked! Sunday 31 July 2005. Well, it may have worked! Where this will end up on the WWW I'm not sure! Then I went and bought some pies and took them to Kathryn's (my eldest daughter) place for lunch. Her brotherinlaw Keepa was there, and of course my granddaughters Anahera and Kaya. Hard to believe Anahera will be 8 next week. She was talking about plans for her birthday and of course Kaya wanted to have HER birthday then too! Kaya will be 5 in November.

Friday, March 31, 2006. Well the four days I had off weren't long enough, isn't that always the way? The weather wasn't very nice for walking or getting outside, it was cold and showery almost the whole time. And Andrew and I were still adjusting to his night shift hours so I was tired. Ah well, things happen like that sometimes don't they lol! Posted by kiwiruth at 8:55 PM. Saturday, March 18, 2006. Posted by kiwiruth at 9:32 PM. Thursday, March 09, 2006. Andrew has a job! Kiwi Tales: September 2005

Wednesday, September 28, 2005. Middle of the weekday. Here's a picture taken at a local small animal park. Anahera and Kaya are looking at the peacock displaying his feathers. They loved the peacock but weren't so keen on the geese that followed them around wanting to be fed! Favourite was a hen with her baby chicks, as well as the sulphur crested cockatoo that said Hello. Tim and Sarah only have 3 weeks until baby is due, the last scan taken last week definitely confirms it's gonna be a girl! I'm thinki...

Kiwi Tales: August 2005
http://kiwitales.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 29, 2005. Monday and the weather was absolutely beautiful. It's the end of winter but it was more like late spring. 16 Centigrade, blue skies, no wind! I came home for lunch and sat with the ranchsliders open, it was a real battle to go back to work after lunch lol! Yesterday I went down to the gliding club and saw a dual tow for the first time- pretty spectacular to see the tow plane towing up TWO gliders at the same time! Posted by kiwiruth at 9:25 PM. Saturday, August 27, 2005. My knitt...

Tuesday, April 25, 2006. My eldest son Tim was in the army for just over a year- he injured his back and was medically discharged, but if he had continued, would have been sent to East Timor as a peacekeeper. Posted by kiwiruth at 4:28 PM. Saturday, April 22, 2006. Well, our petrol prices have jumped about 15 cents in the last 3 weeks, in fact it went up 12 cents in one week! Now we are waiting for the cost of everything to increase. Posted by kiwiruth at 11:36 AM. Monday, April 17, 2006. He's really goo...

Sunday, January 29, 2006. The weather has been so good this summer, mostly sunny and warm, good beach weather- good flying weather LOL. This is one of the valleys we flew through today- just behind where I live is a range of hills that are about 1500m (about 4-5000 feet) high but this is a lower valley not far f. Posted by kiwiruth at 9:31 PM. Saturday, January 21, 2006. Yay for the first time in a year I had a proper flying lesson today! Then I got stressed- that runway comes up pretty fast! To celebrat...

Tuesday, December 27, 2005. I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas day. We went to Kathryn's and had a lovely Christmas lunch with them- we had chicken, rump steak and ham, with salads and lots of desserts. The girls got huge amounts of pressies, and I got given 2 fruit bowls lol! I may not blog very much any more, I feel I'm only doing this for me to view, and there really is little point otherwise. Posted by kiwiruth at 9:07 PM. Saturday, December 24, 2005. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Away for a bit. Posted by kiwiruth at 9:39 PM. Friday, November 25, 2005. I've finally finished the scarves! Yay- and I had a pxt to post, but again even using Andrew's computer blogger will no longer upload. Nothing has changed on this one as far as I am aware, and the only change to my computer was installing Java, so I have no idea still why I can't upload pxts anymore. Makes for boring posts doesn't it, with no photos! Posted by kiwiruth at 10:23 AM. Any one got any sugg...
