The Mommy MonoBlogs: March 2009
http://themommymonoblogs.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Really quick post.I have to get work done and finish cleaning up before heading to bed. But I just couldn't wait to blog this. Alessia has been signing this week! Ok, got it out there, now I have to run! Can you tell I'm excited? Monday, March 9, 2009. What happened to February? When did it become the second week in March? Can't remember if I've mentioned it before, but I spend an average of 10-12 hours a week in the car commuting to and from work and picking up Alessia from my m...

The Mommy MonoBlogs: August 2009
http://themommymonoblogs.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 23, 2009. My brother comes home today! My amazing little brother (okay, maybe he's not so little anymore - he's 22) has ridden a BICYCLE across the country! Ever since high school and all through college, Larry was very involved in Habitat for Humanity. Did I forget to mention that my brother had only actually ridden a bike maybe 2 times before he began training for this monumental ride? Anyway, I am SO PROUD of him! Friday, August 21, 2009. Over the past year, I've seen all the disadvanta...

The Mommy MonoBlogs: Condo living sucks
http://themommymonoblogs.blogspot.com/2009/08/condo-living-sucks.html
Friday, August 21, 2009. Well at least this one does. When we moved in to our brand new condo over 4 years ago, I never really thought about what it would be like to live on the 2nd floor of a building with a kid, let alone two kids! Over the past year, I've seen all the disadvantages of living here:. No space outside that's just mine. The builders had the brilliant idea of giving us "french balconies" off of our sunroom. The only problem: there's no freakin balcony! The stairs. What were we thinking?

The Mommy MonoBlogs: April 2009
http://themommymonoblogs.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2009. I still can't believe my little gilr is one! Where did the time go? I do have to admit, part of me was really upset on Tuesday, because I feel like I got jipped out of the past 7 months with her because I had to go back to work. But then we can't change that, so I just have to accept it and move on. I really would've liked to spend the day with her. At least she LOVED the presents we got her: Green toys cookware set. And Haba sticki blocks. Here's Alessia enjoying her new toys:.

The Mommy MonoBlogs: December 2008
http://themommymonoblogs.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 19, 2008. My little baby girl is getting so big! On Wednesday, she had her first haircut! Her other first: she's cutting her first tooth! On Wednesday night as we were doing our usual pre-bath dance, I noticed a little slit in her gums and the unmistakable whiteness of a little tooth! I've been trying to get a picture, but of course she won't open her mouth now. She's been rubbing her tongue over her gums and cracks me up. For an adorable video of her daughter signing. She's amazing!

The Mommy MonoBlogs: July 2009
http://themommymonoblogs.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 23, 2009. I've decided to finally ditch the disposable diapers and start cloth diapering. I've been wanting to for a long time, but my mother (who watches my daughter while I work) is completely unwilling to use them. So I finally made the plunge and ordered a set of Grobaby. I had tried this brand along with my friend Danielle. I just purchased some Smarti Pants. I've tried washing the machine with vinegar, bleach, baking soda to get rid of the smell. As soon as I do another load, it'...
