Wednesday, May 7, 2014. My sweet little Skye turned 9 months old a few days ago. These pictures were taken on her rocking chair with a Nikon camera that was on the fastest speed setting possible that I could figure out. She's a wiggle worm! Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Max and I came home from the hospital the day before Memorial Day. Carrie, my mother-in-law, was there to welcome us home with Skye. The next day, Max and I rested while Opa, Matt and Skye went for a bike ride around the city. Tuesday, March 17, 2015. My little Skye is growing up and I can't hide from that fact. The other day I found myself saying that Skye is 18 months old.and then I realized that she has actually been 19 months old for more than two weeks! Perhaps I'm living in denial? I want to soak up every day with her. I try to take as many mental pictures and memories as I can. I'm so grateful for technology so I can capture images, videos and memories during her toddler years. Skye's responses, "Skye" pronounced "Psych".

Friday, June 12, 2015. Introducing our Baby Max. On Wednesday, May 20 at 1:40 pm we met our beautiful baby boy. Maxwell Oran Nelson. We wanted our son to have a strong, meaningful name. We both fell in love with the name Maxwell months ago. We loved the fact that it was a Scottish name like Skye's name, and we both really love Elder Neal A. Maxwell. Wednesday, January 21, 2015. January 2015 - so far. One of the things on my list for this month is to start blogging regularly again. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. My sweet sister, Natalie, came to visit us two weeks after Max was born. She is such a lovely person inside and out. I'm so grateful for her sweet, loving personality. It was lovely to have her in our home. My only regret is that she came so soon after I had a baby, so I was kind of confined to the house (feedings, diaper changes, naps and all that newborn goodness). We love Aunt Natalie! Thursday, November 13, 2014. It's been a super long time. So much has happened during the past few months. Mostly amazing things. There have been a few hard and challenging things. Here is an overview of what has been going on the last few months:. 1 Matt accepted a job in Boston. 2 We packed up three weeks later. 3 We went on vacation to Carlsbad with family. 4 Then we traveled up to Utah to spend time with my sisters and more family. 5 We attended a family reunion in Solitude, Utah.

Sunday, June 28, 2015. Max turns one month old! We have come up with a several nicknames for our little Max man. Mr. Max. Little guy. Little man. My little Max. Skye calls him "Maxie.". I love his look of, "I have no idea what it is going on, so I'll just sit here as straight as I can, while you point that thing in my face.".
