Life Serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Africa. November 1, 2015. Although I am physically leaving the places where I’ve served for nearly two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer, my experiences will live inside of me for the rest of my life. They have changed me completely as a person and a part of my heart will always remain behind. Give a man a fish and he eats for a day; teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime. Man maintains his balance, poise, and sense of security only as he is moving forward.
