Men of Force Conference. Dr Harold Davis, president and national director, founded the TALKS Mentoring Program in 1995. In 1996 the effort continued with seven men volunteering as mentors for one hour per week in the middle schools of Champaign, Illinois. Men of Force Conference. Dr Harold Davis, President and National Director. Active as a counselor-teacher, for nine years Dr. Davis has directed a class for college students which deals with relationships and other life-skills. He has served as the president of the Board of Directors for the SAFE House (Substance Abuse Free Environment) and currently serves on the boards of Youth for Christ and Boy Scouts of America.
