Thursday, August 14, 2014. British Columbia, Canada Part 1: The Mainland. In August of 2000 I left to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I went to the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah first and was there for just a few weeks before heading out to the most beautiful place I've ever been- Beautiful British Columbia. There's a reason that's written on their license plates, people. I was there for 19 months and loved it. Here are some pictures from our vacation.

The mother of all mothers made the shoulderpads and the tail, I made the gloves and the headgear, and FF made the bionic eye (or whatever it is). Beats fangs and a cape anyday. All About Me
My next race I'm participating in is the "Wild Goose Chase" 5k fun run in Delta, Utah. It's a super chill 5k that's part of their "Snow Goose Festival". You get to run/walk to the sight and sound of thousands of snow geese in the air and upon the water This many snow geese in such a concentrated gathering is one of the most incredible wildlife experiences available. The race will be held Saturday, February 20th. So far it's just me on this one, so let me know if you're interested! My Sweet Plum Plah.
