Tuesday, March 15, 2011. September has turned into a very busy month. Two birthdays and school starting, and a holiday to affect those. Riley turned 2 and JJ turned 3 this year (2010). We did another joint party this year, but kept it simple with cake and ice cream. They had a blast. Bad picture, but funny how JJ is biting his way into his present. Sunday, October 30, 2011. In the tradition of church parties and trick-or-treating, we usually get to dress up twice and end up with more candy then mom wants to think about. The church Halloween party was on Friday, and this is how we looked. And we all know that Transformers transform from a robot to a vehicle. Thursday, June 10, 2010. Grandma Roberts was kind enough to volunteer her house this year to color eggs (she is lucky and doesn't have carpet under her kitchen table). I think his grin (and fingers) say it all. Samantha had fun coloring eggs, just not me taking her picture I guess. Easter on the Farm. Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Being the mom that I am, how could I resist pulling the camera out for this. My son fell asleep on the kitchen floor. Tuesday, April 6, 2010. In early March we made three batches of strawberry jam with grandma. Andrea was pretty helpful. But, anytime you cook with kids, you get the chance for some great (messy) pictures. Andrea making (licking the bowl) jam. JJ making jam (or just licking the bowl when we were done) and Riley "washing" dishes. Then they traded places, JJ "washing" dishes and Riley making jam. The first picture is a common occurrence in our back yard. Is playing in the car and JJ.
