I recently moved to a new QTH so for right now my main rig is a Kenwood TS 480 HX running 200 watts max. The antenna that I use is a 130 foot long end fed wire antenna with the feed point up about 30 feet and the other end up about 60 feet strung between two trees in a sloper configuration. HAM RADIO AND SUMMITS ON THE AIR. Thursday, June 25, 2015. Well the wife and I finally took the plunge and purchased a small RV. I now have a very nice mobile command center from which to launch my SOTA expeditions. Check out a few pics! I have been real busy with work, and home projects. But I hope to get back out on a mountain soon. With the RV I may also do a bit more chasing while in camp. The wife has even started studying for her technician license!
