We might not have it all together, but together we have it all! Sunday, May 27, 2012. The kids are taking horseback riding lessons. Last year Katelyn took horseback while Alex took archery, but this year they are both taking horseback; it sure makes it easier on the taxi cab driver. This is Katelyn's favorite horse Sunny, she rode him last year and started off with him this year, but then she was forced to switch with her brother because Sunny is a better horse for first time riders.

We relaxed at home his first 3 days off, then went to Monterey Bay for the next 4 days, then we had 3 more days to relax at home before he goes back to work tomorrow:(. We had egg games, decorated bunny baskets, put eggs in a nest (chocolate eggs in a chocolate nest! And had singing and dancing, of course! The big kids have had horseback riding lessons for a few years, and Ben finally had one of his very own! He was nervous at first, but really got the hang of it. I have to admit that I get on here more often to look at everyone else's blogs and I spend so much time reading other blogs that once I think about what I should write then I realize I have homework to do. This semester we have actually has Fall weather instead of it going from Summer right to Winter. I have loved the Fall weather. I took this while at the park with our dogs. This is Eagle Park and it is our new favorite spot.

Tuesday, January 11, 2011. C is for CALEB! My sister Katie, who I introduced all you blog readers to a few weeks ago welcomed her baby boy into the world early this morning! Caleb Josiah was born just before 5:30am Phoenix time and is healthy and, in Katies words "Perfect". We are so excited for Katie and Matt and for Caleb to be a part of our family! I loved this baby a year ago when Katie and Matt decided to start the adoption proc. Ess, and just cannnot express the happiness I felt when I saw his face!

Saturday, December 11, 2010. Does it get any better than this? After one year of going through all the craziness that is entailed in an adoption process, (check out their journey here. My big sister Katie and her husband Matt announced on Friday that they are expecting (through a wonderful, selfless woman) a baby boy on January the 10th! This baby boy is so lucky to be joining the Fischer family! KAtie and Matt are just going to be the best parents! Me (left) with Katie. Won't she be such a fun momma?

Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Going to the Dr. and such. I love Miles's pediatrician! He came highly recommended through online reviews and also my friend Lauren (who also happened to recommend my wonderful OB), and I'm glad I listened. He is so kind and easy going, and he is just exactly what I wanted in my baby's doctor. He weighed 8lbs 14oz! And that's AFTER losing 7oz in the hospital. Sunday, October 7, 2012. We have been so busy since school has started back up. Our days are filled with school, homework, and studying. We so look forward to our weekends when we can just relax and get some sleep and do things around the house that we didn't get to earlier in the week. School is going well and we are surviving.
