Monday, June 3, 2013. That is actually a pretty good way of describing it, if a little jerk-ish. Though I just had a student say the reverse of that, declaring Puxi too old to be worthy of a longer trip to the hospital to get a decent looking cast on his hand, rather than the foot long paddle he’s got instead. Anyway, I’m moving to Puxi! Floor that it’s perched on. The paint job probably brightened it quite a bit also. I will post pictures once it’s all decorated next school year. Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Siem Reap: October Holiday 2014. I decided 2 weeks before our annual October Holiday (China's birthday) that I would go to Siem Reap for about 5 days by myself. It was pretty similar to my vacation in Laos. I took the cheapest airlines in China down to SR on a direct flight that was expensive but still cheap considering I bought it 2 weeks prior. Tuk Tuk adventures in the evening. All of these details everywhere! I thought my birkenstocks were impractical then I saw these.

Friday, October 4, 2013. Then she did my facial. Which involved shredding an entire cucumber and placing it on my face. I saw it on my neighbor and she looked so pristine. I can only hope I looked a quarter of that. I think some sort of honey was placed on my face before that since I could taste something sweet in my mouth (oh the trust factor here! I also got a great facial massage that pressed pretty hard but I feel so much clearer, skin, body, everything. And that was it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Thursday, September 25, 2014. This summer was by far my busiest one yet, though I never felt stressed by it. I think I might have to keep this up. My parents picked me up in DC and we stayed there for a night, with me waking up MUCH earlier than them. I felt like I was waiting forever! An early jetlag morning, finishing up work emails.
