I came here with a group of fellow kayak fishers from KayakFishingNZ.com. Aboard the Lara Star. We are here for three days in total so expecting to catch a few fish…. Yea I know, I’ll go fishing, so out of work at 5:00, drive to Ngunguru, load the kayak, put on some gear and drive around the corner to Whangaumu. Yes I’m four days into the 30 days, will be trying to post daily but with being at the Barrier, and having to traverl from Auckland back to Whangarei posting time has been limited to say the least, I’m fishing tonight after work, don’t know where or how yet, it’s blowing a gale and pouring with rain in Whangarei right now….
