Thursday, November 15, 2012. Happy toddler, happy life. Life is moving at a steady pace for us right now. Not crazy busy (although I'm pretty sure our "normal" would be considered crazy busy to some! But not dull (as if that could ever happen). We're busy with work we care about, a church we love, and family and friends that we want to spend time with as this holiday season gets started. Tuesday, February 5, 2013. The month of love. Delaney has been working on naming the months, and since this is February, we've been talking about Valentine's Day as well. I told her this morning that this is "the love month" - a special time where we show others how much we love them. Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Our first ever movie night! We chose the Lorax. I had no idea what it was about, only that it was new and a Dr. Suess adaptation. We started out the night with a yummy taco dinner courtesy of our awesome in-house chef. We love tacos! After the movie, we all put our jammies on, got Delaney her milk, and piled up on the couch together. It was bliss for this mommy. I guess I just need some time after the "day" is over to unwind before I can get up and going again. I kind of like turning into a night owl. My mom has always been one, so it always makes me smile when I am up watching tv late at night, knowing she is probably up doing the same. Time in the quiet house. A fun night out.

Sunday, April 29, 2012. Cookin' up a new kitchen. For a few months, Andrew and I entertained the idea of listing our house and buying a new one. There were a few upgrades we were looking for, but as we scoured the internet search pages, we realized that there really isn't anything that offers the location, layout, and yard that we love in what we have now (at least not in our price range! That said, we decided to start on some changes to our house to make it a place we love even more! Don't you LOVE it?
