From Infant to Adolecent: Icky, Icky Toe
http://klb2.blogspot.com/2007/07/icky-icky-toe.html
Friday, July 13, 2007. Icky, Icky Toe. This is a message I posted on my "Mommy and Me Meetup" message board. I edited to fit the form of a blog entry, and added in the gorey story that I left out in the message board post.). So, I've been giving him motrin like nuts and cushioning his foot will multiple pairs of socks in case he bumps his toe on something. It worked rather well. Keeping socks on his feet also made him leave his toe alone. Shudder* It grosses me out just thinking about it.*. So, my aftern...

Saturday, April 21, 2007. Friday, April 20, 2007. I can't wait till the weather clears up and it is not so overcast and/or windy outside. He LOVES playing in the water. I don't know of a time where he had more fun outdoors. Summer is comming, along with the HOT weather, so we will have plenty of opportunites to get out and play in the water. Keegan didn't waste much time exploring the water features. Keegan would NOT let me hold his cat for him. So, Kitty got to play in the water too! Keegan picks up the...

He'll always be right by my side. To be a friend and a guide. He can show me sunshine. On a dark and stormy night;. For He'll always put out a rainbow. To make everything feel all right. From Infant to Adolecent: March 2007
http://klb2.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 21, 2007. One sore mothed fuss monster returning home via Allegiant Air. This is quite an odd picture, I admit. However, it shows a clear view of Keegan's mouth, and injury. As you can see, his lip is very swollen and his upper, front, right tooth has been pushed back a bit. OUCH! That's right. they explain how the seatbelts work. It didn't take long for Keegan to figure out. All he wanted to do the whole flight to PR was to buckle and unbuckle his seat belt. It wasn't a ...His mouth is ...

Poetry of the Heart: May 2006
http://kbatesolepoems.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Poetry of the Heart. Saturday, May 06, 2006. Thoughts of Laughter, Tears of Pain. Thoughts of Laughter, Tears of Pain. Thoughts of laughter, tears of pain;. Sometimes you have to lose. To know what you can gain. Sitting on my favorite dock,. Watching the waves crash. On a nearby rock. He taught me pain. He taught me joy. He taught me frustration. He taught me forgiveness. He taught me to do as I wish,. And even how to catch a fish. My dad knew not the word perfection,. Dad is gone, and He's not mistaken.

Poetry of the Heart: I Forgive
http://kbatesolepoems.blogspot.com/2006/05/i-forgive.html
Poetry of the Heart. Saturday, May 06, 2006. I forgive my father, sister, spouse, friends and mother. If I had one, I'd even forgive my brother. For me, forgiving other people is easy as can be. So why then the struggle when that person is me? Someone infamous once said, "we are our own worst critics". I'd have to agree, though I hate to admit it. Self pitty, false pride, shame and guilt knaw at my inner core. To think, act or even care is a gigantic chore. I must forgive myself as I forgive others.

From Infant to Adolecent: Nevada Early Intervention
http://klb2.blogspot.com/2007/06/nevada-early-intervention.html
Tuesday, June 19, 2007. It's been quite awhile since I've posted actual information about how Keegan is doing. For those of you who do not already know, Keegan has been showing quite few characteristics and behaviors associated with autism. We took Keegan to the Dr. a couple of weeks ago with our concern about his delay in speach and certain behaviors. I found this online and it seems to coincide with what Keeagn is going through, or what his struggles are. The Autism Home Page. Goodnight to you all!

From Infant to Adolecent: Recent Eye Exam and Dr.'s Visit
http://klb2.blogspot.com/2007/08/recent-eye-exam-and-drs-visit.html
Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Recent Eye Exam and Dr.'s Visit. To break it to a family that their kid might be autistic if. Not a pleasant thing to break to a parent right? Not to mention the fact that you have no idea how the parent might react. I'm guessing that a lot of parents would not be happy with a Dr. who has just told them their child might be autistic. Anyway, after hearing the question "Does Keegan demonstrate any repetitious behaviors? Anyway, I could ramble on and on for hours, but it is late...
