Tuesday, December 29, 2009. It seems we've been celebrating all month, and I suppose we sort of have. This Christmas has been a wonderful one for us: full of family, friends and shared experiences. I'm very sentimental and I love traditions, but I also enjoy adding new things to our family's celebration. First and foremost we celebrate the birth of our Savior. This nondescript birth under humble circumstances changed the world as we knew it. Amazing! That event continues to change our lives every day.

Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Wedding of the Century! Dave's cousin (Jon) and his. Fiance (Kimmy) got married Dec 28th. We've (especially Megan) been waiting for this day for SO long! We are just so in love with this couple! For a LONG time Megan has referred to Kimmy as "my friend Kimmy who's not my cousin yet but I hope she will be." As I carried a very sleepy flower girl out of the reception hall Sunday night, she whispered in my ear, "I can't believe Kimmy's REALLY my cousin now! We love you so much!

All of my kids had the blonde hair when they were born, but Avery by far has the most. Most people are shocked when they see her. Not only does she have a full head, but it's blonde. It's not uncommon to see babies with thick hair, but it is usually black. But isn't it just beautiful? Just had to share.
