Tomorrow some of us are taking a truck to Laguna Quilotoa (a giant crater with a beautiful blue pool at the bottom), where we´ll set out on the 4-6 hour hike back to the lodge. Clay litter has been implicated as a cause of lung cancer in humans and cats. I can’t determine if it’s true or not (it’s not on snopes. But I figure – better safe than sorry.
