Monday, May 4, 2015. Yes, that's right Lucas and I just bought our first home in Moyie Springs, ID. We signed papers on Thursday and thus began a very long and busy weekend working on the house. Lucas starts the new position as the Bonners Ferry Conservation Office for IDFG (the same position He's had here in Powell)! So we have a long road to haul with fixing up the home, but we look forward to all the possibilities. So here's what we've done so far. How's this for a color combo? 04 May, 2015 21:43.

Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Cora wanted donuts, eggs and hash browns for her birthday breakfast. For dinner she wanted to go to the "french fry lodge" aka: Locsha Lodge. She also wanted me to do her hair like Elsa from Frozen. At home with her pony stick. Saturday we had a Frozen birthday party! Cora's favorite dinner is chicken alfredo, caesar salad, pineapple and strawberries with blue Gatorade for the kids to drink and "Frozen" blue martinis for the adults! Monday, July 28, 2014. A little catch-up time. Over the past month we've been very busy starting out celebrating Independence day for two days (fun times)! The next week while G and G Swanson were visiting we took many fishing and hiking trips. We couldn't go any farther up because of the snow! Wait, is this July? Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Audrey lost her very first tooth today as we were praying for our lunch. This is the first one of three that are loose right now! Pillow and see what happens! Awesome ...

Thursday, July 30, 2015. The Swanson Summer Happenings and Renovation #2. The girls got to go to Vacation Bible School for the first time and absolutely loved it. The way we beat the heat when it was 90 degrees inside the house. Though it was a little small for the whole fam, but we did it anyway. Then came the upgrade. 4th of July smoked ribs from our neighbors welcoming us to the neighborhood. They were so delicious. The way to cook in the summer. A first for me cooking fresh crab. I made crab cakes.

Tuesday, June 9, 2015. A couple of last pictures of the girls in Powell before we left. Ready to leave for our new home! Just a couple of antlers and Lucas sold a bunch right be for we left. Thus became a very long and painful process of fixing up the basement! Thanks to my dad we were able to conquer the room! We couldn't have done it without you dad! Thank you so much! Thursday, November 6, 2014. Finally.my trip to San Diego from back in September. (Where did the month of October go? Driving across the Coronado bridge. The beach on the Naval Base. First beach I've been to in three years! A belated birthday dinner and drinks (thanks Holly and Jess). Thank you Jess for an awesome time. I think I can get though winter now! Monday, April 6, 2015. With moving in 7 weeks 90% of our home is packed up. So, no decorations this year and no pretty dishes, but I did bake some mini Easter egg nest cheesecakes, with elk steaks, broccoli and scalloped potatoes. It was a beautiful day celebrating our risen Savior. We even had our egg hunt outside (just missing the rain/snow by 10 minutes). This is only the second hunt we've been able to do outside in Powell. Wednesday, June 25, 2014. We had a wonderful family outing, hiking up to one of our bear baits, enjoying the exercise and God's beautiful creation. One of our sleeping beauties! December 9, 2014. This year we have a 100% kid-decorated and kid-friendly tree! The boys each picked out some non-breakable ornaments and then got to decorate it all by themselves! I wish I had been able to capture their excitement as it was absolutely precious! As you can see, we have many "gaps" in the decorations, especially since Caleb won't leave them alone and must "fix" them! Way to go boys you did a great job! Looks kind of like ours. The girls did 99% of the decorating! December 09, 2014.
