Lodi Winery 巡り Day3 - Oak Ridge, Klinker Brick, m2, St. Amant, Macchia, Harney Lane -. 2013年7月 6日 13:09). 二泊滞在した The Inn At Locke House. 宿を後にし、まずは本日の1件目、 Oak Ridge Winery. もともとは、初日のVisitor Centerでのテイスティングにて、ワインはここまでスモキーになれるのかという感想を抱いたMoss Roxx が目当て。続いて、名前がなかなか覚えにくい Klinker Brick Winery. テイスティング後に、Wine makerのLayne Montgomery氏と意気投合、裏にある2012年のZinfandelの樽に連れて行ってもらい、そのままそこでまだ瓶詰めをしていない2012を飲ませて貰うことができたこれが既に2011年に負けずとも劣らず美味しかったここは目が離せない。そしてLayne氏に紹介して貰ったのは、これまた、別の倉庫街の中で入り口を見つけるのに苦労した St. Amant Winery.

Friday, July 11, 2014. I truly cannot say enough positive things about these two bottles that I tried. They were absolutely wonderful! I had the Old Vine Zinfandel and the Farrah Syrah. We were out of the Old Ghost.but I can promise you I will be trying that as soon as we get it back in stock. Very deep flavor, very rich and spicy. I fell in love at first sip.
