While Geoff has his quartery massage at Auntie Angelines, I took the kids to explore part of the north shore. We were looking for "Parkour" spots in Kilauea. Looking for Parkour spots in Kilauea. Common Ground in Kilauea. A lot of the residents of Kauai (and other islands) are really starting to protest again GMO. I saw many signs around the island like this one in Anahola. One of the kids favorite boogie boarding beachs (beside Brennecke's) is the beach in front of the Sheraton. It's technically part of Poipu Beach (far west end) but many call it the "Sheraton Beach". She had a hole in her calendar and offered to let us stay here. We've never stayed at HBR before and really fell in love with the views and the condo complex. Tuesday, June 17, 2008. After spending a week in Poipu on the Kiahuna Golf* course (not pictured), we moved to a little cottage in Haena on the North Shore of Kauai. We were about 10-15 minutes west of Hanalei. Our "regular" house on Baby's Beach in Poipu was unavailable. It was under going major renovations. So we opted for a 3 bedroom house with a pool.
