We work cooperatively with families and their schools to ensure that the educational needs of their children are clearly understood and effectively met for academic success and preservation of self image. A.E.C. Advocacy will work to ensure that the most appropriate 504 plan or IEP is developed and implemented correctly for your child. Face to face, phone, and email consultations are available, along with in school support through attendance at parent/teacher conferences and CSE/504/CPSE/PPT meetings.

Alice Capozzi, founder of A.E.C. Advocacy, is a special education advocate who assists families in securing educational rights for their children with disabilities. An experienced advocate and parent of two children who have received services, Alice has also served as a copresident of Westchester/Fairfield NLD Support, Inc., a non profit support group for parents of children with nonverbal learning disabilities, from 2003-2010. Parent Advocacy is of the utmost importance to a child's success in school.
