All Because 2 People Fell in Love. The Story of the Van Eerden Family. Tuesday, May 18, 2010. A friend of mine is trying to raise money to buy wagons for a children's hospital in memory of her daughter, Liberty. Liberty's birthday is May 24 and Kelly would like to buy 10 wagons for the hospital. They are $257 away from this goal. The Combs Family Four. Tuesday, November 11, 2014. I feel like I'm really late posting for summer of 2014, since it's the fall, but here I go anyway:) Bella did pretty good in fourth grade. She had a male teacher this year, Mr. Bright and he was pretty awesome. She almost had straight A's, but that blasted math did her in again. That was my downfall too, so at least we can commiserate! The fire was pretty much out, so Chief Bob and Chief Alan very graciously spent the next hour and a half answering every question that Sam could come up with. He got to try on Chief Bob's fire gear, climb on the fire trucks and everything. It was quite an experience and I have no pictures to remember it by. Matea and Sam had a great time in the sand. Our little fireman posing for a picture. As luck would have it, fireman Sam was the flag holder today. Thought this was a cool picture with a fireman and our flag. Friday afternoon brought parties for the bigger kids and the annual Halloween parade through downtown Ravenna. Here is Allison and her class before the parade.

With a brand new trailer purchased late in the 2009 camping season - the winter seemed oh so long. We were so excited to have a crisp but beautiful weekend that we could get the trailer back on the road and enjoy a wonderful weekend away. Camping Season 2010 has begun! First hike of the season.
