Thursday, July 24, 2014. Now that all the people are fairly self-sufficient and can go almost everywhere we have decided to take advantage of the places around us. We missed being able to do this in the past due to work schedules and the ages of the kids but NO MORE! So for our first family summer adventure we chose to go to the Olympic Peninsula to Olympic National Park, Forks, WA and the surrounding area. Water makes getting places a little slow. The region is unique and beautiful. He did.So we did.

Sunday, August 18, 2013. I have wanted to visit Glacier National Park in Montana ever since I was a child. I remember seeing pictures of this beautiful part of the country in magazines and in calendars and I knew one day I'd be there! With Glacier being closer than almost all of our family it made it to the top of our "Must do while we live here" list. This park did not disappoint! The views were astounding.
