Sunday, May 22, 2011. Oh, Apron, how I've missed you so! I've been so go-go-go in the past couple of months that I've been neglecting my kitchen. Well, not completely. a girl's gotta ea. However, I've done very little cooking; relying mainly on frozen meals, salads and sandwiches. BO-RING! This afternoon I embarked on a major, much-needed grocery shopping sesh. (It's probably been a month since I did a full haul, since I've been out of town every weekend for the past month! Cilantro and Green Onion Hummus.

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. The Oklahoma City Memorial Half Marathon is on SUNDAY! When I started training back in January, it seemed so. Far away. I honestly can't believe that I just completed my last training run! Technically, I'm supposed to run 2 miles tomorrow, but I ran 2 extra miles tonight so that I could have an extra rest day. Monday, September 28, 2009. Sometimes we just need someone to tell us. Sorry for the lack of updates - work has been keeping me so busy lately. Lately I've had more than one moment of feeling completely horrible at my job. whether it's forgetting to do things or doing something wrong. it's been a little overwhelming. I know that it's my first year and that this is totally normal, but it's HARD! I hate not feeling confident at what I'm doing! I have the most amazing parents in the world. Cry my eyes out.

Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Happy Happy Joy Joy! Today officially marks the first day of Summer Vacation! Ahhh, the joys of working in the public school system. :) I have to say, though, as nice as the snow days were back in February, I'd take them back in a heartbeat to have been done a few days earlier. Oh well! If you know of anyone in the Dallas area (Richardson, Addison, Plano, etc) area looking for private speech therapy or even a babysitter, let me know! I'd love to work with some additional kiddos!

Monday, May 30, 2011. For months now, I've been talking about wanting a massage. Training for / running the Half Marathon had my muscles in all kinds of knots. I openly admit that I am terrible. About stretching. I'm also incredibly UN-flexible. Thankfully, my wonderful. Sister picked up on my not-so-subtle hints and got me a gift certificate for a 90-minute massage at Massage Envy. She also hardly said a word, which was exactly what I wanted. I would not. Sooo I may have just let it drip on the floor!
