A Day in the Life ...: Ch...ch...ch....changes....
http://gliks.blogspot.com/2013/10/chchchchanges.html
A Day in the Life . One glass at a time. Saturday, October 26, 2013. What a year it's been so far. As we move distinctly into fall, a new season, a new outlook, a new life, really. The kids went to overnight camp (and had an absolutely AWESOME time by the way.). The week after my previous post, on pickup day the little Diva headed straight to our dog Cody . "Oh Cody, I MISSED YOU! With nary a look at her Mom or Dad. Oh the drama! I can't do it any more. The blogging world has changed; as have I. I've...

A Day in the Life ...: Hard Work
http://gliks.blogspot.com/2012/09/hard-work.html
A Day in the Life . One glass at a time. Thursday, September 13, 2012. You can pretty much find video instructions on Youtube for anything these days. Which is a really good thing when your daughter wants to wear a fishtail braid. Or when your own hair becomes a lot thinner than the horse hair texture you had in your 20s . and now you can experiment a bit with it. Like doing fancy things with a flat iron. Yeah, who knew. Hey, Mom, what are you doing? Me: "I guess it sort of is.". View my complete profile.

A Day in the Life ...: Musical musings
http://gliks.blogspot.com/2013/03/musical-musings.html
A Day in the Life . One glass at a time. Tuesday, March 19, 2013. It's been forever, I know. I don't think I can even call myself a blogger anymore. I wish I could. How to catch up when life has a way of catching up with you? The kids are getting older, we're all getting older. Opportunities come a-knockin' and you just gotta go for it. Don't sweat it, there is a plan, so why worry about it. I get the odd sense that Dad is looking out for me(oh to be young and to rave.). I know the feeling! A href=http:/...

A Day in the Life ...: The first night
http://gliks.blogspot.com/2013/08/the-first-night.html
A Day in the Life . One glass at a time. Sunday, August 11, 2013. Excitement was at an all time high this morning. Packing lists had been printed out. New luggage, purchased just weeks before, was stuffed accordingly. Sleeping bags, bathing suits, bugspray, sunscreen, hats, raincoats and rubber boots, just in case. And the all important stuffie. The first day at overnight camp was here, and the kids were pumped. Im sure it will be great like you said, but I see how it would be so hard for you. I'm a mom ...

A Day in the Life ...: End of an era
http://gliks.blogspot.com/2013/07/end-of-era.html
A Day in the Life . One glass at a time. Saturday, July 20, 2013. End of an era. We sold the minivan. The one that I said "never" to (and by the way, never say never.). The one that carted around high chairs, strollers, playpens, soccer gear, bikes, skiis, lawnchairs, luggage, shoes, groceries, IKEA furniture, coolers, an entertainment unit, tiles, kitchen sink (not kidding) . and more than a few kids at a time. But now that the van is really gone, I'm a little sad. Can't get cooler than that. J at www&#...

A Day in the Life ...: More About Karen MEG
http://gliks.blogspot.com/2004/06/about-karen-meg.html
A Day in the Life . One glass at a time. Tuesday, June 22, 2004. More About Karen MEG. I don't know where to start, ironic given that this blog is pretty much all about me. I'm a mom of two in suburban Canada, who transitioned from busy career gal to stay-at-home mom and now occasional work-at-home-when-her-kids-let-her mom. The decision to stay home while the kids were little was a no-brainer. I was a happy consequence of the company merger movement. There I’ve said it, now let’s move on. The Boy: L, L-...
