Yesterday (technically still the 23rd in the States though) was our first full day, and it was a long, full, tiring, but satisfying one. First, I started off the day with a 6.55 km run at the gym and a few laps in the pool. Then we ate a huge breakfast buffet at the hotel…and I literally ate enough for 4 people. Happy Birthday, Alex! Making Pita: A Local Guide in the Old Souk. May 27, 2013. For the pita bakery, we would roll the dough out into a large, flat circle and then stick it on the pillow. Then we would quickly stick our hands into the oven, and plaster the dough to the side of the wall for it to cook. Then you would pick it out with tongs after cooking it for a few minutes.
