My Journal through BC. Friday, May 22, 2015. Size: 10 Bodice/12 Skirt. Petite Line Adjustments (pattern has marking for this). Added 1" to skirt Length. Removed 5/8" from upper bodice before armhole curve. Removed 5/8" from back racerback area, reshaping curve. I just made the romper here. After making a few more adjustments, I believe I have a great fit! I really, really. Like this pattern. I cannot wait to make more! I did line the skirt only with some white batiste. I really like this simple sundress, which can also be made with a short sleeve. In addition to this dress, there is also a little jacket included with the pattern. The straps are easy to fit since they are sewn to the back inside after everything else is finished. Bling Ka-Ching cotton/lycra knit from Purple Seamstress.

My Journal through BC. Wednesday, March 25, 2015. The Jalie swimsuit. I made a set for me here. Jalie 3351 and 3023. If you aren't familiar with Jalie Patterns, they are sized 2 to 22. How awesome is it to have one pattern that will fit the entire family? Funny how I got the seashell right at the mid tummy area. This is a size 134 in the top and a 140 in the bottom. And a little more fashion forward with my other daughter's choice of fabric. This is a 140 top as well as a 140 bottom. Links to this post.

My Journal through BC. My Journal through BC. Here is my journal through breast cancer. This was in reference to the flattening. As you can imagine I was extremely upset as I had brought this to his attention 8 months prior. Now with another ultrasound, he said "it's a tumor." I requested an immediate biopsy, which I was given. Jaunary 17th I had a mastectomy of my left breast, and two weeks later my chemotherapy began.
