Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Miss Louise is very relaxed. And I do mean LOVES. Sleeping on the still-warm cooktop! I used to try to dissuage her from doing this but it was hopeless. She just loves to get up there after supper and fall asleep! Meanwhile, out in the garden, our new stray, Keaton, (aka Batman aka Catman) has been showing up every day for meals. He is interacting nicely with the other cats, as well! And Saul is doing well. We will try his next hoof trim without sedation. He's such a lovely boy!

Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Donkey kisses and various other farm happenings. We have the bestest donkey in the universe! Saul is so sweet and gentle! Today he came up to me at the fence was was just resting his nose against mine, ever so gently. He's adorable. Such a good boy! Annuk the Greek goddess always has something to say! It was a long and tiring week around here, as my father passed away on Monday the 29th. He waited till we got home safely from our cruise.
