Kneen's travels and random thoughts. Friday, October 8, 2010. Nothing suprises me anymore. So many things here are just different that a lot of times I cant help but laugh at what i stumble upon. 1 I have four walls and a roof to my bedroom but I seem to share it with nature. The lizard seems to perfer the bathroom which doesnt bother me except when he suprises me in the shower. It is already so small and when my friend scares me by scampering up the shower wall there really is no place to escape to.

I saw many things that took me slightly by surprise. He had warned me before I arrived of what I would see but when I actually saw it…. Wow! We live in an oasis where the only things reminding you, you are in Ecuador is the food on the family table and the taxis honking as they pass you walking down the street. A little patch of grass.

I was recently engaged in December so now all the exciting future plans are being discussed. That is what I have learned my second day in Buenos Aires. I got set up at another hostel and had to say goodbye to my friend. I was a little disappointed he went in for a kiss knowing I had a boyfriend. I didn’t feel like I owed him anything and with a stern no I sent him on his way. And off to bed I went.
