Saturday, November 7, 2009. On our trip up north, we stopped by West High in Salt Lake to visit Nick. We hadn't seen Nick for a couple of months, while he has been with his mom. Nick was so excited to see Chris especially, and we were pretty excited too. We were able to check out his school situation, meet his teachers and classmates and take him to lunch. This is my second year teaching 3rd grade with Kimber and Jimmy. This year we were lucky enough to add Fred to the team. Friday, April 3, 2009. Today I was up in Salt Lake for a conference and a co-worker took us to the Lone Star Taqueria for lunch. If you love hole-in-the-wall Mexican joints like Zac and I do, then you will love this place. The carne asada burrito was yummy! I guess it was featured on The Food Network's. Thursday, July 3, 2014. All aboard the crazy baby train! I feel like we're on a crazy train. It's pure survival mode around here. So we finally felt like we could announce our pregnancy. We waited a little longer to tell people just because we wanted to wait until we were in a "safer" zone. But it is really hard to keep it a secret! When thats all you're thinking about and you're so excited, but you can't tell anyone! I had him with no epidural so I know I can do it, but do I want to do it?
