Knidia covers a land of 12 acres made up of a daily living space and a vineyard. There is also a pool used for irrigation and cooling purposes on the farm together with an orchard of various fruit trees, plus facilities for carpentry. Three old Greek stone buildings within the farm area have been restored with great care preserving their authenticity. At the moment, one of these buildings is being used as an olive oil mill and the others as accommodation. 2012 Knidia Eco Farm.

Knidia products are made up of olive oil, carob molasses, soap, Datca almonds and wine. When we began, the idea was to produce enough for the use of the farm and to give away to friends. However, in time, as the amount of products increased and as the products began to receive gratitude and demand, the nature of our activities have slowly began to acquire a commercial identity. Even so, our intention has always been to keep producing with traditional techniques and a workshop understanding.

The main substance of the soap we produce is olive oil which is known for its healing and nutritious effects on the skin. The traditional soap recipe called “castile”, which uses only olive oil, commonly used in Mediterranean countries, is the basis of the soap we produce.
