We wait all year for summer and boating and boy have we been disappointed this year. Rain, rain, and more rain seems to be the trend. Now, I can share the reasons behind my blog slacking the last 3 months and hopefully all my blogging friends will excuse my behavior :). Hold onto your hats.I am pregnant! Luca - Did you and Daddy have a wedding cake with candles? Me - No, most wedding cakes don't have candles, buddy. Luca - Well that is too bad - candles would make it even more fun. Vodka, Caviar, and Apple Pie. Thursday, September 24, 2009. 6 months old today.an on time post :). Today Cara is six months old! Like everything, the time just flew by. Just 6 months ago I was giving birth to the most beautiful little girl - she was tiny and sweet and so absolutely wonderful. She continues to be sweet and wonderful, but tiny? No not tiny. Our sweet babe is a chunky monkey.weighing in at 19 pounds this month and 26 inches long. So, onto what Cara has been up to. She flirts with Daddy.

I find myself being overly emotional (not uncommon for the pregnant lady! And so, so grateful lately. I am not sure what has brought it on (pregnancy hormones), but I feel like I need to not only acknowledge my blessings, but do something to help others - not sure what, but I know in time I will realize what it is.
